The AEPA Aviation & Aerospace Workforce Awards are focused on recognizing organizations that are contributing to the development of the aviation and aerospace workforce. AEPA members and non-members may nominate organizations.
All of the awards are focused on recognizing those who have contributed to addressing the aviation and aerospace workforce issue. The goal of the awards is raise the awareness of the contributions being made and motivate others to work on addressing the workforce issues.

Any aviation or aerospace education program or organization may nominate a company that has contributed to their education efforts. This award recognizes companies that made a significant impact on education. An education organization may nominate more than one company. The categories of nomination are listed below.

Aviation & aerospace education organizations may nominate companies that have contributed to their success. The companies that receive the highest number of nominations in a particular category will receive the award. Please note AEPA members and non-members may make nominations.

The foundations and grant making institutions that receive the highest number of nominations in a particular category will receive the award. This award recognizes aviation and aerospace programs and organizations that have addressed the workforce issue.
Award Process and Criteria
Education programs may nominate themselves and submit data on based on the criteria below for the last academic year. The program with the highest overall score will get the Aviation & Aerospace Award. AEPA members and non-members may make nominations.
Award Description
Aviation & aerospace education organizations may nominate federal and state government agencies that have contributed to their success. The federal and state government agencies that receive the highest number of nominations in a particular category will receive the award. Please note AEPA members and non-members may make nominations.

Media organizations may self nominate and other organizations may make nominations. AEPA members and non-members may also make nominations.

Any corporation, association, aviation or aerospace education program or organization may nominate a policymaker that has contributed to addressing the aviation, aerospace and space workforce. The policymakers may be members of the executive or legislative branches of government at the federal or state levels.
This award recognizes policymakers that made a significant impact on workforce issue. A corporation, association, aviation or aerospace education program or organization may nominate more than one policymaker.
Award Process and Criteria
Any corporation, association, aviation or aerospace education program or organization may nominate policymakers that have contributed to addressing the aviation, aerospace and space workforce. The nominators describe how the policymaker has contributed to addressing the workforce issue in both the short and long term. The policymakers with the most impressive record of addressing the workforce issue will be awarded this recognition.
Award Description
Any aviation or aerospace organization may nominate an educator that has demonstrated excellence in contributing to addressing the aviation or aerospace workforce. This award recognizes individuals that made a significant impact on addressing the workforce at the K-12, trade school, college, informal education organization (like museums) or university level. These may be individuals at public or private organizations. An organization may nominate more than one person. The categories of nomination are listed below.
