There are two types of members. Aerospace Universities & Trade Schools and Aerospace Education Programs
AEPA is the collective voice of aerospace education programs. It educates and advocates for aerospace education programs with Congress and federal agencies such as the FAA/DOT, NASA, DoD and the U.S. Department of Education and other agencies. It also represents a collective voice for Aerospace education with industry. AEPA promotes the interests of its members with all key stakeholders.
Get invited to regular meetings to learn about what is new in aerospace education, network, and contribute to the direction AEPA and aerospace education should take. Committees report on important findings and discuss actions the group should take to move forward. Membership Meetings are also where members nominate and vote on who will be on the Advisory, Government Advocacy, Corporate/NGO Advocacy and Other Special Committees.
AEPA has several committees such as Advisory, Government Advocacy, Corporate/NGO Advocacy and Other Special Committees that focus on a variety of topic areas to support aerospace education and the member organizations. Members can be active in making a difference in aerospace education by participating in these committees or interacting with committees to enhance their organization’s work.
Collaborate with other aerospace education programs to assist each other in recruitment. Learn about best practices and new opportunities. Help connect the pipeline of programs from elementary school to middle school and high school with higher education and trade schools and on into aerospace careers. Work together to pass students from one program to another and keep them engaged in aerospace. Contribute to building the aerospace workforce.
